Lab Tutorials
The location of the Big Data for Science lab tutorial is: http://salsahpc.indiana.edu/tutorial/This lab tutorial shows how to write and execute a number of example programs. There are two parts to the tutorial: Hadoop and Twister.
The reader will find installation instructions interspersed throughout the tutorials. On-site students may skip over these installation instructions since the entire software stack is pre-installed on FutureGrid. Online students (who are not issued accounts on FutureGrid, by the way) can follow these instructions to install Hadoop and/or Twister on a local system.
